HACEF Hosts a Mardi Gras Gala

Small Organization, Big Check

HACEF makes a large contribution to the Harborfields School District… to benefit the Technology Initiative in our schools!

A check for $50,000 was presented at the April 19, 2017 Board of Education meeting to the Harborfields School District by HACEF Vice President, Karin Fey and HACEF Gala Co-chairs, Joyce Johnston and Kelly Walker. This donation was made possible through funds raised at last month’s HACEF’s Mardi Gras Gala and HACEF’s Summer Camp program. HACEF could not have accomplished this outstanding goal without the support and collaborative efforts of the community and individual PTA units in the district. “It is an exciting time to be a student, parent, or teacher in Harborfields,” says Vice President Karin Fey. “We are sure the district will put this contribution to innovative use for our children.”
