These camps are held  Monday through Wednesday at Washington Drive Primary School immediately following Summer Academy. Children attending Summer Academy are escorted directly to camp by HACEF staff members. If your child is attending camp directly following the district’s Summer Academy program, a dismissal note MUST provided to their teacher. Children will not be released to camp without it. Download a sample note here. If your child is attending multiple weeks, one note is sufficient as long as the individual camps names and dates are listed.

Summer Luau
Instructor: Sandra Reitz

Aloha Campers! Get ready for some fun, sun, and all things tropical. Campers will design their own tiki Masks, seashell and shark tooth necklaces, and make their own leis and grass skirts. We’ll play island games (pass the pineapple, hula hoop races, and limbo rock) and have fun learning how to translate everyone’s name into the Hawaiian language. We will create yummy Luau desserts, decorate flip flop and surfboard cookies, make rice crispy Hawaiian shirts, and blend up tropical smoothies with pineapple, strawberries, and mangos. We’ll be hanging ten and having a total blast!
