• You may be familiar with the HACEF Camp Program… but do you know what happens with the profits we raise each summer? Every penny goes to the HACEF Foundation, which offers significant grants to all four Harborfields Schools for the purpose of enhancing and enriching our children’s education and well-being. HACEF grants have been used to fund the latest in technology, art, music, science, reading, special education, and much more.

Becoming a Friend of HACEF allows you to directly assist in these significant educational enhancement efforts and to also help fund HACEF student scholarships.

HACEF Memberships that are received via check, cash, credit card OR PayPal by Monday, October 21 will be entered into TWO raffles: • A FREE HACEF Summer Camp 2020 • The CHANCE TO PRE-REGISTER FOR ONE CAMP OF YOUR CHOICE, before Summer Camp registration opens on March 15, 2020! We will call both winners on October 22!

About Us

What is HACEF? We’re a non-profit Harborfields District organization with the best job in the world: Enhancing the opportunities for the children in our community in creative, innovative ways. How do we do this? First, by offering kids the chance to learn a new skill or invest in a natural talent through our popular HACEF Summer Camp Program and also by making significant contributions to technology, art, science, special education, and other amazing initiatives at Harborfields in the form of grants.

Being able to support the effort to bring the latest in technology and curriculum to our schools—in today’s very competitive world—is a cause we feel very strongly about. HACEF realizes it is important for school districts to keep up with ever-changing technology and latest in curriculum—whether it’s coding and engineering, or art, music or theater—to help keep our students as current as possible in today’s college and career marketplace… and to also help them become wonderful, well-rounded individuals!

To date, HACEF has funded over $210,000 in grants to all four Harborfields schools and $60,000 in scholarships. Contributions have included: Digital Cameras and Printers, Smart Boards, Science Research Equipment, Multi-Media Equipment, Chromebooks, Interactive Computer Resources, Technology for Artwork Display, Tablets for Graphic Arts courses, Character Education, Lego Robotics kits for Science Research and much more.

The Harborfields Alumni and Community Educational Foundation (HACEF) is a not-for-profit 501c(3) corporation established in November 2003.
